AB The paper deals with power management systems in a vehicle comprising of an internal combustion engine which is connected via a gearbox with a clutch and transmission to a main generator of electricity. The battery and supercapacitors, as the central independent power source, are connected via the control module and via a bidirectional communication bus to the vehicle state evaluation unit. Both modes charging and discharging of the battery and supercapacitors together with alternator control is the most affected by the evaluation unit.
